Proposal and Contract Management: Lead the preparation of proposals, conduct contract negotiations, and handle all contract administration.
Compliance and Oversight: Review and analyze estimates of materials, costs, and performance requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness. You'll monitor company performance against original proposals and confirm all terms and conditions are met, staying compliant with legal and government regulations.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and process bids, specifications, and progress reports. You'll keep detailed records of all contract correspondence, changes, and status reports. You'll also be responsible for disseminating information about contract status and modifications throughout the organization.
Advisory and Strategic Support: Advise management on contractual rights and obligations. You'll also participate in strategic negotiations, including teaming agreements and marketing alliances.
Problem-Solving: You'll tackle complex technical and contractual problems, providing innovative and effective solutions. You'll be a recognized authority within the company, determining the best course of action to achieve desired results.
Experience: Proven experience in contract management, with a strong background in preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts.
Expertise: A deep understanding of legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations related to contracts.
Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Problem-Solving Abilities: A demonstrated history of solving complex technical problems and developing innovative solutions.
