We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our software development projects from conception to completion for Federal clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and exceptional leadership skills.
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for software development initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Supervise and mentor project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure project success.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively to minimize impact on project scope and timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a computer- or business-related discipline is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Significant IT project management experience in software development or design. Substantial experience in a supervisory capacity is also required.
Skills: Excellent communication, organization, time-management, and leadership skills.
Certifications: A Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), or Project Management Institute’s Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is required. A certified and experienced Scrum Master is also an acceptable qualification.
Communication: Substantial years of communication experience, including facilitating meetings and presentations and writing project documentation.
Citizenship and Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position. The successful candidate must be able to pass a background investigation and successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance as a condition of employment.
