We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Architect/Technical Lead to join our team. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills to drive the design and development of our software systems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of architecting complex solutions and guiding a team of developers to deliver high-quality applications

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new software architectures and systems.

• Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and design patterns.

• Mentor and guide development teams, providing technical leadership and oversight.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of all applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as a senior escalation point.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a computer- or business-related discipline.

• Experience: Significant experience in defining and creating software architectures and designs.

• Technical Expertise: Intensive and progressive experience developing and designing applications with the following technologies:

  • Frameworks & Libraries: Apache Struts2, JQuery JavaScript

  • Services & Platforms: Alfresco services, Azure Virtual Services

  • Databases: MS SQL Server

  • Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • Application Servers: Wildfly Application Server, Apache HTTP Server

  • Core Technologies: Java Development Kit (JDK), SiteMinder Web Agent

• Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading technical development efforts.

• Communication: Expert written and verbal communication skills.

Citizenship and Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position. The successful candidate must be able to pass a background investigation and successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Possession of a certification in a related field (e.g., architecture, cloud platforms, specific technologies) is a plus.

The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
