Overview

Team Pyramid seeks a detail-oriented, high-performing Senior Business Analyst/Training Specialist to support our customer in enhancing its web-based Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This role operates within a fast-paced, agile environment. The selected candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, with responsibilities spanning application development support, project management, training, documentation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Provide a description of proposed enhancements and how the system meets the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Translate business requirements into well-organized designs and user stories.
  • Collaborate with the customer to ensure new recruitment functionality meets the needs of the Human Resources team.
  • Document workflows and security.
  • Create a data mapping diagram that maps current data to new ATS fields.

Project Management Support

  • Function as a subject matter expert, providing descriptions of proposed enhancements and how the system meets PWS requirements.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Provide full production support for application defects and runtime issues identified by the government.
  • Acknowledge issues within one business day and resolve them based on a priority schedule.

Training & Documentation

  • Develop and deliver training materials and guides for end-users and the hiring team.
  • Provide staff training and help desk/user assistance support.
  • Develop user training guides, manuals, and other documentation for the solution as part of core project deliverables.
  • Ensure the training site is maintained at the same version as the production site.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst/Training Specialist, supporting federal customers.
  • Experience developing user training guides, manuals, or other documentation for a solution as part of the core project deliverables is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to train both end-users and the hiring team in real-time on the system is required.
  • Experience working with technical teams to develop solutions for identified business requirements is necessary.
  • The ability to communicate well within cross-functional teams and to serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders is essential.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment is required.
  • Process experience (ITIL, ITSM, PMI) is a plus.

Target Pay Range

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
