Overview

Pyramid is seeking a Senior Principal, Federal Financial Digital Solutions to serve as a recognized thought leader and trusted advisor within the organization and its federal clients, specifically in the Federal Financial Regulatory arena. This pivotal role will assist in shaping the future of secure enterprise digital operations and driving strategic growth. The selected leader will blend deep technical expertise in advanced technologies, including Generative AI, with high-impact leadership in strategic business development, innovation, and client engagement within the federal government. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an enterprise technology executive and technical strategist, supporting the design, development, and deployment of advanced security architectures for large-scale digital services and AI applications, ensuring alignment with evolving federal mandates and critical business priorities. 
  • Identify, shape, and drive new strategic business opportunities within the federal government, translating complex technical capabilities in digital transformation and AI into client-focused solutions, supporting capture strategies, and leading capability briefings with executive stakeholders. 
  • Support high-profile digital transformation initiatives, serving as a client delivery resource and when necessary, program lead on efforts that align with this senior principal’s skillset. 
  • Develop and direct enterprise-level digital and AI security strategies, robust risk management approaches (including emerging AI technologies), privacy policies, and system contingency planning to meet regulatory and mission-critical objectives within large-scale federal environments. 
  • Act as a principal investigator and innovator, researching and developing forward-looking digital and AI security technologies and applications, such as LLM-based solutions and RAG systems, that position the company as a market leader in federal digital and cybersecurity solutions. 
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client engagements with C-level executives and federal leadership, and partner ecosystems to promote digital transformation and AI security capabilities and thought leadership. 
  • Mentor cross-functional technical teams and junior staff, cultivating next-generation cybersecurity and digital leaders, and reinforcing a culture of innovation, accountability, and mission focus within a large organizational structure. 
  • Collaborate closely with business units, solution architects, and executive leadership to align digital and AI security investments with broader digital transformation goals and new market opportunities within the federal sector. 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science or a related technical field. 
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, digital transformation, and information assurance within the federal government, with a strong track record of technical leadership and success in driving enterprise IT strategy and managing multimillion-dollar budgets and programs. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical capture efforts (within the public sector context), author white papers, deliver strategic briefings, and shape proposals, especially for complex digital services and AI initiatives. 
  • Recognized subject matter expert in enterprise IT strategy, risk mitigation, federal compliance and accreditation processes (specifically federal risk management frameworks), secure architecture design (including cloud transformation), and emerging cyber threats related to Generative AI and other advanced digital technologies. 
  • Proven experience in spearheading enterprise-wide Generative AI strategy and governance, including evaluating LLM models and commercial frameworks and hosting technologies (e.g., Ollama, LlamaIndex, Langchain, Open WebUI, AWS, AWS Bedrock, AWS Lambda). 
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., scrums, user stories, backlog grooming) and extensive experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure). 
  • Ability to travel as required for corporate and customer meetings. 
  • Firm grasp and understanding on the digital initiatives underway across the Federal Financial Regulatory arena.

Target Pay Range

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
