Overview

Pyramid Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to lead our Federal Healthcare go-to-market strategy.  This individual will be a key member of the Growth team, focusing on bringing Pyramid’s core solutions and capabilities to market Health and Human Services and other Federal Healthcare accounts (referred to hereafter as HHS).

  

As a part senior leadership, this position directly contributes to corporate objectives by developing and accelerating our growth within the federal healthcare market.  Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this highly visible position works with other senior leaders across Pyramid to develop and execute account strategies and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new and existing customer relationships to develop our business and visibility within HHS that result in organic and inorganic growth.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of Pyramid’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives. Use this knowledge to design and execute creative and differentiated growth strategies and customer engagements as well as influence future capability development efforts.
  • Identify, qualify, and support the capture of new business. This includes ownership of the HHS new business pipeline and account/opportunity-specific customer call plans. Maintain a 3+ year sales pipeline of qualified business opportunities by constantly identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
  • Conduct introductory and ongoing briefing(s) with various HHS OpDiv leadership and management teams, with a priority focus on CMS through exploitation of Pyramid’s CMS SPARC prime contract and other available contract vehicles.
  • Maintain business relationships with other industry partners to facilitate teaming and thorough awareness of the competitive market.
  • Participate and host HHS industry events that highlight investments and service capabilities.
  • Review and evaluate proposal documents during color reviews and in preparation for proposal submission.
  • Participate in oral presentation and video proposal submission reviews.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of (10) ten years of experience selling technology and services to the Federal Government.
  • Experience building and maintaining sales pipelines that consistently achieve sufficiency targets.
  • Prior experience developing business to and strong relationships within HHS, including knowledge of HHS OpDivs and missions, that resulted in business growth.
  • Strong reputation within the HHS community with a mix of direct program experience coupled with direct experience in the realm of Federal business development.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning opportunities, as a prime Federal Systems Integrator contractor with contract value of $50M and greater.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent direct experience with HHS with significant contract wins within past 2 years
  • Experience winning opportunities, as a prime Federal Systems Integrator contractor, greater than $100M
  • Experience working in a fast paced, mid-tier federal contracting business
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (information technology or business)
