Overview

Pyramid is currently seeking a high performing Data Analyst/Tester that can work in a fast-paced agile environment. The data analyst/tester will have the ability to explore, profile and understand data, and will devise solutions using a combination of the best practice processes, techniques, and technologies.

 

You will participate in multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, analysis, documentation, testing, and support of application developed for our client. Must be US Citizen (no dual citizenship) in order to support this federal program.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide feedback and action items to proactively identify data discrepancies in a complex system
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in structured data sets
  • Provide quality assurance of imported, and transformed datasets
  • Analyze, document and define data management processes, both batch and real-time
  • Perform testing on API endpoints to verify data integrity
  • Work with stakeholders to troubleshoot, and identify and document requirements
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD as well as Agile tools and processes including Git, and TFS
  • Define and propose new process improvements for managing data

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • 4+ years of experience using SQL to query across databases, and presenting findings
  • 1+ year of experience using Postman, or another API testing framework
  • Good knowledge of Oracle databases, and REST APIs
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel (knowledge with Excel utilities for data comparison between SQL results from the source and target systems as part of the data analysis)
  • Must have worked on projects that have resulted in code being deployed to production
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts is required
  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational and product management skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be US Citizen (no dual citizenship) in order to support this federal program

Education / Certifications / Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other comparable degree
  • Must be able to obtrain Public Trust Clearance
